Appearance: Allelujah is a tall, fairly attractive young man. At 6’1”, he tends to tower over most people, though his nature tends to subvert the intimidation quality that may have. He is rather lithe with broad shoulders, though it’s obvious that he does have quite a bit of muscle mass, making him stronger than most people. His hair is dark, with a sort of greenish tinge to it. In the back, it goes past the nape of his neck and flips up away from his body and in the front, he has long bangs that cover one side of his face to his chin, revealing only one oddly silvered eye. In fact, his eye and his bangs are his most important feature. When the bangs are covering the right side of the face, you have Allelujah. But when the bangs cover the left side of the face and a single golden eye is visible, you have Hallelujah. It’s the only way you can tell who is who (besides personality, of course).
Personality: Allelujah is the last person one would expect in a prison. He’s a gentle, soft-spoken young man, who is keen on intelligent conversation. Instead of using violence to solve his problems, he prefers to discuss the nature of the problem. Not to say that he can’t defend himself, of course, but he is more likely to turn the other cheek rather than to fight. He leaves that to Hallelujah.
Hallelujah is Allelujah’s second personality, and the total opposite of the rather mild, polite young man. He has a rather extreme survivalist mentality, viewing the world as “kill or be killed.” He is extremely sadistic and cruel, enjoying mind games and torture. He is, by every definition of the word, a psychopath. He is charming and charismatic, in his own way, and the only person he really views as a person is Allelujah. Though he would never admit it (even under pain of torture and death), he is quite protective of his other half, and if circumstances were different (such as him not being a psychopath and not sharing a body), he would probably love him. As it is, if someone messes with Allelujah, in anyway, you’ll be dealing with Hallelujah. | |

| | HISTORYAllelujah, despite his kind nature, had a difficult upbringing. The fact that he has Hallelujah attests to this. He lost his parents at the age of three, forcing the government to spirit him away to a foster home. He was never adopted and moved from home to home. During that time he created Hallelujah to deal with the abuse (physical, psychological, and sexual) by one of his many foster parents. Said foster parent was found castrated in his home, a shell-shocked Allelujah next to him covered in his blood. The incident was never brought to court because of the obvious abuse Allelujah had suffered. That was the first time Hallelujah came out. The two personalities are mutually cognizant, though Allelujah holds the reins most of the time.
Not too long ago, he was recruited into a paramilitary organization whose goal was the eradication of war and to bring peace through…unconventional means. His skills as a pilot, his ideals, and other factors determined his recruitment into the organization. Oddly enough, it wasn’t his ties to this organization that led to his current dilemma.
The incident that led him to prison was also Hallelujah’s fault. In an attempt to protect his host from a gang of thugs, Hallelujah killed five men in rather gruesome ways (evisceration, cutting one man open and letting his intestines tumble out, etc.), put one man in a coma from a vicious beating, and tortured a seventh near to death. When he was finished, he set the building on fire and was laughing maniacally when the fire department and police showed up moments later. By the time Allelujah regained control, he was already in lock-up, waiting for his arraignment.
During the trial, Allelujah attempted the “not guilty by reason of insanity” defense, citing DID (dissociative identity disorder) as the cause for the attack. The jury was so shocked and horrified by his crimes that they threw out the defense, finding him guilty of all charges. |

| | SENTENCEFive counts of first degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of arson. He has been sentenced to five life without parole sentences, two twenty-five to life sentences, and one ten year sentence, all to be served consecutively. Needless to say, it will be a long time before he gets out, if at all.
